Get a dose of inspiration and
discover some of our favourite projects
Mandinga Arts creates space for people to express themselves creatively. Drawn from years of experience we invite everyone to join us on a journey of discovery within every Mandinga performance.
Much of our inspiration is drawn from the natural world; flora, fauna, seasonal rituals and festivals from traditions and cultures around the globe.
Whether inside or outside, day or night, big or small every detail matters when bringing a Mandinga show to life.
Some of our favourite projects:
The Spirit Tree
(2023 – present)
A project combining our innovative use of materials and techniques, complemented by storytelling, music and movement to harness connections between people and their environment in a variety of settings.
Aalborg Carnival – Denmark
(2010 – present)
A cross-cultural collaboration with international students to present playful, innovative and interactive performances at the largest carnival in Northern Europe. We participated in various residencies to provide upskilling with local groups and artists.
Waterloo Carnival
(2002 – present)
A hyper-local carnival arts project involving a primary school, community groups and local businesses in an intergenerational celebration of Waterloo.
